Our church was originally known as the Minden Baptist Church, and it was started by Pastor Josh Beshea on April 19, 2011. In 2022, after a brief move to Sibley, LA, under the leadership of Pastor Josh Beshea, God allowed our church to purchase another building, and we were able to relocate to our current residence on Lewisville Road. In November 2023, the Lord led Pastor Josh Beshea to take the pastorate of a church in Illinois. By the grace of God, He gave our church our second pastor, Matthew Harrison, and he became our pastor in September 2024.

Due to our church being confused regularly with another church in town, Pastor Harrison felt led of God to change the name of the church. After much prayer, on February 1, 2026, the church voted to change the name of the church to Blessed Hope Baptist Church. We are excited about our new name, and the bright future the Lord has in store for us!
